A Brief History of Animation

 Since I was young I’ve been interested in animation art. The animated movies and series accompany us from the childhood, Studios like Ghibli, Disney or Aardman make entire WORLDS into his movies, wolds that can be amazing and totally different each other. That is the magic of animation, we can do anything with it.


 The history of the animation started long ago in a distant land, with the early civilizations, with the Mesopotamians and ancient Egyptians, that used to make iconic representations of its lifes and the time progression, on the walls and ceramics. One of the forms of art that it was nearest the animation is the Shadow play, that probably it started in Asia 3 or 2 thousand years ago; and it’s consists of puppets that project its shadows on a paper and with it you can tell a story. Many years after that began the animation, with toys that through the movement alternated different images, and these seemed become to life.

 Toward the end of the 19th century rise the first films, that it was accompanied by multiple experiments of this novel technology, and one of most interesting were the animated films. Great names like Georges Méliès, Max Fleischer, Ub Iwerks and Walt Disney contributed to make the fantastic world of animation.


On December 21, 1937 Walt Disney Company release ‘Snow White an the Seven Dwarfs’ that it was the very first animated feature of a long list of magnificent works of this studio and others.

 Meanwhile in 1942 was released the first, and for a long time the unique, animated feature made over Chilean land : “15 mil dibujos”, It was makes in poor conditions, although that did not been a limitation for its creators: Jaime Escudero and Carlos Trupp. Pioneers in the Chilean animation.

 If we keep our focus on Chile rise names like: Jorge ‘Coke’ Délano, Eduardo Ojeda and Tomás Welss. All they was an very prolific authors during the 20th century. 

 Already for the 2nd half of the 20th century the Japanese animation, The Anime, erupted with force around the globe. And in this century it’s still being a giant of this industry. For the 21st century there exists more references for the animation, in a world level. In fact more of this are for the internet that helped to make a world community that share everyday more content from every part of the world.

Scotland: A country I would to visit

     One of the countries that i would visit some day is Scotland, its natural (and artificial) wonders attract me since I seen its landscapes and I meet its myths on a Disney's movie 'Brave' and this interest increased with the years, after I seen Diana Galbadon's series 'Outlander' with my girlfriend we dicided visit the picts land someday.      Scotland it's the northest land of the Great Britain island, in the past it was inhabited by the picts, and after that it was occupied by the scot people (that arrived from Ireland), as I know in some moment the Roman Empire arrived to Great Britain island and they did conquest England and Wales(I think) but they didn't can conquest Scotland, because the Scotish clans did have a braveheart(jajaja), for this the Roman Emperor Adriano commanded to make a wall between the Roman Empire's lands and Scotish lands. My Best Vacation Ever

 My last outside vacation was on the early of 2020, I went with my girlfriend and her family to Coñaripe at the south of Chile. Coñaripe is a tiny town at coast of Calafquén Lake, it have a beautiful landscapes and a lovely traditional market, also it is near by other towns and lakes, so we had multiple things to do.  When we arrive to the town we entry in a road near by the lake and we arrive to the cabbin place, that was lika a tiny village with 4 or 5 cabbins, there was the propietary waithing us for give us the keys and show us the wooden cabbin.  The next days were amazing. When we been there it was summer but I never felt the heat like it is in Santiago; in fact one of the days I went outside with my girlfriend in the middle of a storm and we felt the wind and the water forces while we were getting arround the town, it was great, I loved it. Other thing that we do was swim in the lake when the storm was ending, when only it were the dark clouds lited by the red sun ...
